(ENG) The concept of this work is to represent, through sounds a particularly aesthetic experience, the contrast between the post-industrial landscape of Bovisa's neighbourhood (Milan) and the wild invasion of vegetation trying to repossess disused hangars and abandoned buildings. Starting from the title, each track refers to a different type of vine and attempts to enhance this organic image through an evocative musical language. This work aims to absorb the symbolic conflict exacerbated by post-industrial landscape, translated from its audio-visual and olfactory affordances. Electroacoustic residual sounds, granular streams and atmospheric echoes compose a micro-organic texture that take the shape of techno dark buildings with deep dub roots. Hyperborea is an electronic journey that takes you from introspective falls to sudden rhythmic ascesis, where the image of vegetation digs into concrete walls’ crevices.

(ITA) Hyperborea è un disco che nasce dal desiderio di mettere in musica una personale esperienza estetica: il paesaggio post-industriale del quartiere Bovisa (Milano) e l'irrompere di una vegetazione selvaggia che si riappropria di capannoni dismessi ed edifici abbandonati.
Ogni brano, che nel titolo richiama il nome di un differente rampicante, si confronta col tentativo di sublimare quest'immagine attraverso un linguaggio musicale evocativo, capace di sintetizzare le diverse contaminazioni audiovisive ed olfattive del paesaggio post-industriale pur custodendone gli elementi di contrasto e la conflittualità simbolica.
Residui sonori elettroacustici, tessiture granulari ed echi atmosferici, vanno a comporre un sostrato micro-organico bruitista capace di percorrere sottotraccia l'instabile avvicendarsi di scuri edifici techno dalle profonde radici dub.
Hyperborea è un percorso elettronico fatto di inquiete discese introspettive ed impreviste ascesi ritmiche, immagine di un sussulto vegetale che scava feritoie nel cemento armato.
